Feb 27 2007:  Ver 10.0.5.15 Released. Important upgrade!
Upgrade: Overcomes very recently discovered issue with database engine. Particularly important to clubs using Linking Races and who have deleted some Races or Results Groups.

Feb 10 2007:  Ver 10.0.5.13 Released. Small enhancements
Enhanced: Provides facility to force ShowDate field that has failed to install on some club computers.

New: "Boat Performance Ratio" handicapping for Keel Boat clubs. For details contact support.

Feb 1 2007:  Ver 10.0.5.12 Released. Bug fix & small enhancements
Bugs fixed: V10.0.5.12 installer did not correctly update the database on some computers. This stoped Site Manager functioning. Fixed. ; Using the Down arrow key on the stopwach screen caused errors. Fixed.

Enhanced: FTP from Stopwach now includes starts times from Session, plus FINAL flag if set.
Enhanced: Import Finish Times screen (with or without Stopwach) can now print both windows to facilitate finding non matched Sail Nos.

Jan 19 2007:  Ver 10.0.5.11 Released. Significant Release.
New: SiteManager nows offers RaceDate on Series Index screen. SM also has improved wording on some screens.

Jan 1 2007:  Ver 10.0.5.6 Released. Bug Fix Release.
Bug Fix: Previous releases ( 10.0.5.3 to 10.0.5.5) lost option to link races. This has been fully resolved.

Dec 21 2006:  Ver 10.0.5.4 Released. Minor Upgrade.
Bug Fix: New facility Update/Add Regatta entrant  now saving entrant correctly.

Dec 19 2006:  Ver 10.0.5.3 Released. Significant Upgrade.
New: "ARB" penalty score for outcome of Arbitration Hearing.

New: "Entrant Update / Entry" (for Master List) facility.
New: "Linked Races" now confirmed on Race Set Up screen with option to see all links to this race.(Double Click "Linked" heading).
New: "Hidden Series" now removed from Series List when Linking Races and when Cloning a Series.

Don't forget: to update, in TY click on the Help menu then click on Check For Updates. After the update, restart TY.

Nov 29 2006:  Ver 10.0.5.2 Released. Minor Upgrade.
Allows HCs to be entered starting with the decimal point rather than 0 then the decimal point;
Copy HCs from previous Series now hides the "hidden" series.
Round Robin series set up re introduced.
Several other minor improvements. 
Don't forget: to update, in TY click on the Help menu then click on Check For Updates. After the update, restart TY.

Nov 16 2006:  Ver 10.0.5.1 Released. Significant upgrade for Keel Boat clubs who wish to easily share race data between clubs. (See Sharing data between Keel Boat sailing clubs 20071105.doc on ref section on TY site).
Also bug fix for backup files name for clubs who have Windows set up for 'd/m/yy' date format .
View Race/Series Entrants now includes Division column.

Also 'TYRemoteSupport' released.

Oct 24 2006:  Ver 10.0.4.9  Released.
If you accidentally add a HC for an Entrant you can now delete it provided you have not Entered them into the Series.

Oct 22 2006:  Ver 10.0.4.8  Released. Slight tidy up of Restore button labels.

Oct 21 2006:  Ver 10.0.4.6  Released.
Bug fixes.
- Creating new Database now correctly copies security code of selected, previous database.
- Series Scores by Class now displays correctly.

Oct 19 2006:  Ver 10.0.4.5  Released. This is a minor update.
Improves restore screens; improves "no results" feedback message/dialog;
Allows Ctrl F for searching on View Results screen (must be in relevant column eg Boat Name)

Oct 14 2006:  Ver 10.0.4.1  Released. This is a significant update. Use "Check for TY Update" from the TY HELP Menu!!

Oct 4 2006:  TopYachtSoftware moved to new Internet Server.

Aug 24 2006:  Ver 10.0.3.15  Released.

Data Capture facility expanded. Now allows you to record boats who are going onto the water along with the number of crew. They can then be logged off at the end of the session. This information is available for safety and as entrant list for a session. Import HCs from previous series now activated.

Aug 02 2006:  Ver 10.0.3.10  Released.

A minor update. Fixed bug in selecting alternate class data on the Enter Race Competitors screen, Fixed bug in Show HC Definitions for Dinghy clubs and overcomes issue of adding new classes in an empty database. Provides more up to date list of YV yardsticks for dinghies and an alternate Empty database which also includes the YV trailable yachts list. Remember that if you carry forward your previous season data you also carry forward you existing list of classes and the yardsticks / CBH values. Only the creation of an entirely new Database utilises the updated class list as your previous list may have been purpose altered to suit your club.

July 27 2006:  Ver 10.0.3.9  Released.

This adds a "Data Capture" facility as an extension of the StopWach facility; also Clone a Series functionality now enabled; when imported your Master List from a previous season you can now choose to include or not include scoring definitions. (If you have created a number of your own scoring definitions then import them but this will lock out the new scoring systems added to TY V10.)

July 10 2006:  Ver 10.0.3.6  Released for general use. 

This is a very significant update to TopYacht software.

The functionality and screen layouts are only slightly altered but the storage of data has been moved from the Borland Database Engine to the Absolute Database Engine. This provides several benefits the main one of which is the possibility of genuine multi user access for major sailing events! The other major change is the installer system which now provides for automatic updates via the Internet. The development of this new version has been a major undertaking involving work over 18 months. The new version has been successfully used for Sail Melbourne (Jan 2006) and for Scandia Geelong Week (Jan 2006) and is now ready for general use.

New facilities/features

There are a number of intended additions over the new few months.
